PRIVACY\nNOTICE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Oswestry and District Darts League take your\nprivacy very seriously. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This Privacy\nNotice sets out how we use and look after the personal information we collect\nfrom you. We are the data controller, responsible for the processing of any personal\ndata you give us. We take reasonable care to keep your information secure and\nto prevent any unauthorised access to or use of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What personal data we\nhold on you<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Personal data\nmeans any information about an individual from which that individual can be\nidentified. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We collect,\nuse, and store some personal data of our League members. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You provide\ninformation about yourself when you register with the League, and by filling in\nforms at an event, or by corresponding with us by phone, e-mail or otherwise. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\ninformation you give us may include your name, date of birth, address, e-mail\naddress and phone number. Where we hold this data it will be with the explicit\nconsent of the individual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where we need\nto collect personal data to fulfil League responsibilities and you do not\nprovide that data, we may not be able honour or administer your membership. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why we need your personal\ndata<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will only\nuse personal data for any purpose for which it has been specifically provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The reason we\nneed League members\u2019 personal data is to be able to run the League and arrange\nmatches; to administer memberships, and provide the membership services you are\nsigning up to when you register with the League. Our lawful basis for\nprocessing your personal data is that we have a contractual obligation to you\nas a member to provide the services you are registering for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have set\nout below, a description of all the ways we plan to use your personal data. We\nhave also identified what our legitimate interests are where appropriate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    out match or League information and updates <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Sharing
    data with League members ONLY<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Sharing
    data with committee members to provide information about League activities,
    membership or renewals. The League has a legitimate interest to maintain member
    and participant correspondence for League purposes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Publishing
    match and league results.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Who we share your\npersonal data with<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    When you\nbecome a member of the League, your information will not be shared with anyone\noutside of the league. We may use your name as part of the website for things\nsuch as pictures or results but never any other information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Protection of your\npersonal data<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    We have put\nin place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being\naccidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or\ndisclosed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    How long we hold your\npersonal data<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    We keep\npersonal data on our members while they continue to be a member or are\notherwise actively involved with the League. We will delete this data after a\nmember has left or otherwise ended their membership or affiliation, or sooner\nif specifically requested and we are able to do so. We may need to retain some\npersonal data for longer for legal or regulatory purposes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Your rights regarding\nyour personal data<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    As a data\nsubject you may have the right at any time to request access to, rectification\nor erasure of your personal data; to restrict or object to certain kinds of\nprocessing of your personal data. To complain to the UK\u2019s data protection\nsupervisory authority, the Information Commissioner\u2019s Office about the\nprocessing of your personal data. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    As a data\nsubject you are not obliged to share your personal data with the League. If you\nchoose not to share your personal data with us we may not be able to register\nor administer your membership. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    We may update\nthis Privacy Notice from time to time, and will inform you to any changes in\nhow we handle your personal data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
